Find Your Winter Home Away from Home in Myrtle Beach at Bay View Resort
When winter comes to the beach, snowbirds flock to Bay View Resort! And great deals are on the docket for those who qualify for the Bay View on the Boardwalk winter rental program by staying a minimum of 28 days from October through March.
One of the best parts of making the resort your home-away-from-home is the opportunity to meet a community of other winter visitors. That’s why Bay View coordinates a meet and greet for winter renters, usually in January.
“Once most of them are here, we’ll invite everyone and have food and drinks and coffee,” said Steve Showers, front office manager at Bay View Resort. “Towards the end of it we’ll discuss what events people are interested in for that year. Sometimes they’ll want to do a game night, and we’ll help coordinate a room for them to use for that.”
“Basically, they decide what they want to do,” Showers said. “We’ll have a place in the lobby with a calendar where you can see what’s coming up.”
Another benefit for winter renters is the fact that Bay View is a newer, updated property with black granite countertops in its fully equipped condos—which also come with floor to ceiling windows with stunning views. There are even corner units that have balconies off both bedrooms. And certain room models may have a standard room connected to the condo that the winter renters can have rented to visiting friends and family for reduced rates.
And because Bay View’s water amenities are all located indoors (though the sliding doors can be open in nice weather to bring in an ocean breeze), they never close, and you can enjoy the pools year-round.
But Showers said the biggest draw for winter visitors? Location, location, location. “We’re right on the Myrtle Beach boardwalk. You really can’t beat our location.”
