Good Vibrations resonates with the energy of classic American music in Myrtle Beach
Irving Mills wrote it and Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and numerous others voiced it – “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).”
The classic jazz standard could be the unofficial motto of The Good Vibrations Show at The Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach.
Featuring the most stellar music from the 60s to the 80s, The Good Vibrations Show is packed with songs that created untold memories for millions.
The production features a bundle of high-energy performances from a dynamic cast of singers, dancers, musician and comedians, all of who are dazzling examples of showmanship.
The Good Vibrations Show is one of four performed at The Carolina Opry, and its popularity is due, in part, to its ability to take audience members back down memory lane.
During the two-hour show, many folks get to experience music from their youth. Songs by The 5th Dimension (“Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In”), James Brown (“Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag”), Blondie (“Heart of Glass”) and ZZ Top (“Legs”) are among the songs in a lengthy nostalgic playlist that takes the audience from memories of their first kiss to the sounds of their wedding bells.
However, The Good Vibrations Show also has its share of original song and dance, which is seamlessly woven into the production. For instance, there is the electrifying presence of ALLTHAT! Guests of Bay View on The Boardwalk, just as other spectators before them, will be amazed by the intricate, hypnotic footwork of these ultra-talented, all-male percussive clogging ensemble. Their speed, precision and style have gained the group national recognition, including being chosen as one the top acts in the quarterfinals of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” – and plenty of that talent is on display in The Good Vibrations Show in Myrtle Beach.
