8th Ave Tiki Bar & Grill

This oceanfront bar doesn’t have to offer one of the best happy hour specials in town, but it does anyway. From 4 to 7 p.m. every day of the week, “8th Ave” (as it is known to regulars) offers discounted domestic beers, well cocktails, house wines and appetizers. Atlas Tap House

Craft beer fans might want to make the short trip one block inland from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to this old beach house converted into a neighborhood pub. On Mondays through Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m., Atlas Tap House offers its entire selection of craft beers from $3.50 to $5, and house liquor drinks for only $4. Grab a table in the backyard bar area, hang out with some locals and enjoy Atlas Tap House’s delicious menu! Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar & Grill

This local chain recently opened its downtown location near Plyler Park, bringing its famous oyster roasts to the masses on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. From 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, Dirty Don’s offers discounted oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, mussels, clams and chicken wings. Pier View Open Air Bar

The southernmost spot on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk offers one of the best views in town. Located high atop the Second Avenue Pier, this seagulls’ nest lets patrons relax on cozy furniture and look down and out at the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying tasty drinks and appetizers. Happy hour is held daily from 4 to 7 p.m. and features $2 Bud and Bud Light drafts and $3 houses wines and liquor drinks.

Pier 14

From one end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to the other, your 1.3-mile pub crawl features piers as bookends. On the north end, Pier 14 offers an excellent spot to take a break before beginning your journey back toward Bay View on the Boardwalk. From 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, Pier 14 offers half-price drink specials, including domestic drafts and house liquors.
