Make sure on your next visit to Myrtle Beach, you include a day or evening along the 1.2 mile stretch of ocean front boardwalk. It stretches from the 2nd Avenue Pier to Banditos bar and restaurant, just north of the 14th avenue pier. The walkway features raised wooden decks, brick pavers, and dune landscaping with vegitation to create a serene, peaceful yet natural beach experience.

Begin your day with a stop at the 2nd Avenue Pier, head out over the water to cast a line, or stroll on the pier. If you're hungry, grab a bite at the restaurant with sweeping ocean views, or enjoy the amazing views on the rooftop bar.

Next, head north and be sure to stop at Sharkey's bar and and grill, offering some breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Ready for a game of mini golf with the family? Try your hand at Shark Attack Mini Golf Course, and yes it's oceanfront. They have two 18-hole courses with themed holes and fun facts sprinkled as you move along the course.

All of the golfing has the entire family hungry, head to the main section of the boardwalk where you're greated with a carnival and nostalgic atmosphere. With its sights, sounds, and energy, coupled with the sidewalk cafes, arcades, amusements and more!

Take a bite of history as you visit Peaches Corner, that has been in business for over 75 years. Grab a beer and a hot dog and take a look at some of the old pictures as you see how Myrtle Beach once was.

Ready to explore the area from new heights? Then climb aboard the SkyWheel, where you can see for miles on a clear day. If you want to shop, no worries, there's something for everyone.

Finish your day on the most northern end of the boardwalk, at Banditos; live music, ice cold margaritas, and a great meal!

There is so much to do along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk: summer festivals, holiday events, and some good old family fun. So come stroll, dine, shop and play! Be sure to make the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk the highlight of your summer beach vacation.
