5 Breakfast Spots You Must Try in Myrtle Beach

Rise and shine!

Myrtle Beach has plenty of incredible options for the most anticipated meal of the day: Breakfast. (You’re hungry from a night of not eating, after all.) Isn’t a hearty breakfast a great way to start a good day?

To get you started right, we’re recommending five spots in Myrtle Beach to get your breakfast on. Don’t hit snooze!

Get fast, friendly service at Barefoot Landing or North Kings Highway. Try the delicious southern skillet, or chicken and waffles. There’s a nice kids’ menu, too.

You must try: The Blueberry Muffin & Eggs feel like the right choice in a restaurant with that name! The Traditional has everything you could ever want in a downhome breakfast.

Blueberry's Grill

They serve specialty waffles (such as red velvet), pancakes, and home-baked bread. Johnny D’s French toast is also a good bet, and you’ll love the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Order a Bloody Mary or Breakfast Margarita (it’s a thing!) — they’re awesome!

You must try: The Three-Egg Omelet, because who does that at home? The Farmers Omelet has home fries INSIDE it.

Signature omelets are the thing for this restaurant, popular all over the southeast. They never disappoint, whether you get Bananas Foster French Toast or a sandwich. The loaded home fries are pretty incredible, too.

You must try: The Family Bundle, which feeds 4-6 hungry folks. The Denver Omelet Biscuit with Home Fries is as outrageous and delicious as it sounds.

Omelette

For breakfast fit for a captain — including making your own omelet — where else would you go? Sea Captain’s has ambiance and a view of the beach, plus top-notch service. One breakfast here and you’ll see why they’ve been a Grand Strand favorite since 1962.

Must try: Get the Eggs Benedict, with homemade hollandaise sauce and a fruit cup. The Seafarer Omelet has shrimp and crab meat in it; get it with grits!

5.) Croissants Bistro & Bakery

Comfort food for breakfast (or brunch) sounds like a fantastic idea, doesn’t it? Treat yourself to savory quiche, with sausage and bacon, and coffee that’s out of this world. It’s a touch upscale, with an onsite bakery so you can take a snack with you after breakfast.

Must try: The Some Kinda Wonderful smoothie has peanut butter, banana, Nutella, coffee, and cream. Their Avocado Toast and Cinnamon Bun Minis are the perfect way to start your day, too
