Before you leave for home from your getaway, you ought to check out the iconic Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It’s a popular walkway through the heart of Myrtle Beach, with someone for everyone. It has places to grub and places to chill and chase thrills, too.
You can take the boardwalk from the 14th Avenue Pier south, past Plyler Park, right down to the 2nd Avenue Pier.

We recommend the Ultimate Big Daddy Cheeseburger and Spitter’s Chicken Wings. They’re staples of a Grand Strand entertainment institution.

You’ll find superlative service and great eats also at Hurricanes (the Shrimp Po Boy is so good!) You’ll not want to visit without trying VooDoo Juice, to come to hang out on a sunny afternoon, or for any of the many summer events. This place also might serve Myrtle Beach’s best burger.
We recommend the Hand-rolled Mozzarella Sticks and Pesto Chicken Panini. Also, the Hurricane and Chocolate Cake Shooter are pretty awesome.
