There are also plenty of attractions and restaurants to keep the non-shoppers in your party occupied, including the Ripley's Aquarium, Dave & Buster's, Hard Rock Cafe, Hollywood Wax Museum, Legends in Concert and WonderWorks. There's also an amusement park, movie theater and miniature golf for the little ones.

Make sure to plan for a full day, you won’t be disappointed by this choice.

Of course, Broadway at the Beach isn't the only place in town for great retail therapy. Check out these other shopping centers and retail districts on the Grand Strand for the ultimate experience:

Barefoot Landing: Located in North Myrtle Beach, this massive retail, dining and entertainment complex offers a little something for everyone. The shops are located along a boardwalk that overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway, where a new area has opened as part of a recent expansion project. The spacious Lulu's and other restaurants make up the new section, and guests can find good family fun and entertainment at the surrounding Alabama Theatre, House of Blues and boat tours.

Coastal Grand Mall: Centrally located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, a little over 2.5 miles from Bay View Resort on the Boardwalk. Featuring regional hub stores and national brand-name shops, Coastal Grand Mall also has an arcade, food court and movie theater for a break from bargain-hunting. Other area malls include the Myrtle Beach Mall and Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet.

Tanger Outlets: This town IS big enough for two of them. Located on Highway 501 near Carolina Forest and on Kings Highway near Briarcliffe Acres, the Tanger Outlets are loaded with national chain stores and local shops. Visitors can spend hours shopping until they drop without dropping a lot of cash.

The Market Commons:  Retail space that was created on the old Airforce Base in Myrtle Beach, now features dozens of shops spread out over a six-block span of beautifully landscaped sidewalks and storefronts, with a wide range of restaurants, art galleries, coffee shops and a movie theater, making it the perfect place for families to spend a day and evening.

After a fun getaway for retail therapy, head back to your oceanfront room to rest and relax.
