This event featuring a 5K and half marathon offers oceanfront scenery and a pair of nice, flat running courses that pass some of the top spots in North Myrtle Beach. 22nd Annual Palmetto High School Golf Championship — April 9-11, True Blue Golf Plantation and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, Pawleys Island
This 54-hole, collegiate-style tournament is flighted based on an 18-hole qualifier round and features high school golf teams from around the nation.

Hosted by the nonprofit Socastee Heritage Foundation, the 10th annual installment of this family-friendly festival will feature 100-plus vendors, three stages of live entertainment, free children’s activities and more.
