Your Independence Day Getaway Agenda for Myrtle Beach

It’s almost our nation’s birthday. It’s a federal holiday, too, and in 2021, it lands on a Sunday. This means the official holiday is Monday, July 5.

You’ve already asked off for the Friday before to make it a four-day weekend, right?

Myrtle Beach is a great destination for celebrating Independence Day. What says summer more than July 4? And what says summer and July 4 better than a trip to the Grand Strand?

WHERE TO WATCH FIREWORKS

Broadway at the Beach

There are fireworks here Tuesdays and Fridays through the summer over Lake Broadway. They’ll have a special Independence Day show, Sunday, July 4, at 10 a.m., right in the middle of the shopping center.

Barefoot Landing

Catch a brilliant show over the lake here on the southern end of North Myrtle Beach. They usually host Monday fireworks shows but will have a special event on July 4 at 10 p.m.

What happens when you combine Ripley’s oddities with good old-fashioned ghosts? A fun way to get your adrenaline pumping. Where else can you find shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons?
